At 38 years old, Keenum made his first start, and his first game in general, since December 23, 2023, when he was with the Houston Texans. He finished the game completing 24-of-34 passes for 247 yards and three total touchdowns.
Bears RB D'Andre Swift led all rushers with 84 yards on 20 carries, while wide receiver Kalif Raymond led receivers with 90 yards and one touchdown on six receptions.
Philly now falls to 1-4 all-time when they commit three turnovers with Hurts as the starting QB. He finished with 178 total yards (25 rushing), completing 16-of-25 passes with one interception.

Chicago got the game started with a 66-yard drive that ended with an eight-yard touchdown pass from Keenum to Luther Burden III. Both teams exchanged punts following the first score of the game, before the Bears forced the game's first turnover.
Philly running back Tank Bigsby fumbled on his own 15-yard line, leaving Chicago's Xavier Woods to record his first fumble recovery since October 29, 2023.
It marked the fourth takeaway of the season for a Bears defense that ranked first last season with 33 in total.
But despite the great field position, the Bears came away with no points on the ensuing drive.
Keenum tossed two straight incompletions on the Eagles' three-yard line, who eventually forced the Bears into a turnover on downs. Rome Odunze dropped the third-down pass in the end zone before the next one intended for Burden was broken up by Quinyon Mitchell.
Chicago's defense came up with a clutch stop of their own on the next Eagles possession. During the 95-yard drive, Hurts left the game after taking a brutal hit along the sideline, leaving veteran backup Andy Dalton to come in for a few plays.
Well, it was a few plays too many as Dalton threw a pick to Bears' rookie safety Dillon Thieneman in the end zone, marking the first interception of the first-round pick's career.
His clutch moment saved the Bears from losing the lead when the half was all said and done.
Chicago drove down the field once more, getting to Philly's 11-yard line. But after two straight runs for negative two yards each, Keenum threw an incompletion intended for Burden again, leaving the Bears to settle for a 29-yard field goal from Cairo Santos to go up 10-0 with 1:52 left in the half.
However, it proved to be too much time left on the clock.
Hurts returned and led the offense all the way down to Chicago's one-yard line thanks to a handful of big plays, including a 30-yard pass to Devonta Smith down the sideline.
With another pass to Smith for eight yards and no timeouts, the Eagles had to hustle to the line to get off one final snap. And what would they do? The classic tush push that they made popular to finally score as time expired.
It marked Hurts' first rushing touchdown of the season and his sixth total. Both teams finished the first half almost dead even across every stat. Philly finished with 186 total yards to Chicago's 176.
Philly had 12 first downs; Chicago had 11, while neither gave up a sack.
Second half
The third quarter was all Bears, who forced the Eagles to punt on three of their first four drives.
Following another field goal by Santos, the Bears continued to tack on points after they went up 20-7 thanks to a big 41-yard touchdown pass to Raymond for his first as a member of the Bears.
Raymond had just one touchdown all last season for the Detroit Lions, and now already ties that season total in just three games this year.
On the Eagles' fourth and final drive, the Bears forced their third turnover of the game to bring their season total up to seven, this time coming from linebacker T.J. Edwards.
He has now recorded at least one interception in six of his eight years in the league. Edwards had one all of last season and now grabs his first this season and the eighth of his career.
Up until this point, he also had two tackles, one tackle for a loss, and three pass deflections.
Like clockwork, the Bears took advantage and drove down the field to go up 27-7. It was Keenum who was the one to cap off the 13-play drive with a one-yard rushing touchdown.
It's his first rushing touchdown since December 22, 2019, when he was a member of the Washington Commanders. It also marked his first game with at least three total touchdowns since that same year, but in Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles on September 8th.
The Bears forced their second sack of the night to force the Eagles into a deep 4th & 22. With an incompletion from Hurts, it ultimately shut the game down for the final five minutes as the Bears improved to 2-1, while the Eagles earned their first loss of the season as they fell to 2-1.
It's now back-to-back years the Bears have bested the Eagles, outscoring them 51-22 in the two matchups.
It also marked the first time this season that the Eagles were held to under 300 total yards (248).
